   Club Championship / Trophy Allocation

                                 Machine Eligibility

Trophy Allocation   Over the last two seasons a large number of trophies have not being collected by riders at the conclusion of meetings. This causes wasteful expenditure which in the current climate cannot continue. We have therefore decided to reduce the number of trophies per meeting by awarding them on the aggregate results per class of the two races on Saturday plus the first race on Sunday. (Except for the F1- 125s)   The quality of trophy for the number required on the budgets we allow is becoming dire .Therefore reducing the number allocated per meeting will allow us to obtain better quality trophies within the same trophy budget.

F125  Trophies  allocation , 1st – 2nd – 3rd-  Places  As this class has a younger element of club rider  i.e. 12 to 15yrs  in order to encourage them trophies will be awarded  in  each race per day. In this class only

Pre injection and S/F 600s      (previously steel framed 600)  As always when a class begins to gain popularity so the problems beset  organizers  manifest themselves.  A couple of years ago the Steel frame 600s were in the minority. and had to be accommodated within other classes .We now have sufficient machines to establish an event which can stand on its own legs.    However the inclusion of the R6 Yamahas has led to a repeat scenario and comments among the Steel Frame riders that the R6 is a step beyond the rest of the field.

All clubs need to fill their grids. On 2008 levels there are insufficient R6 machines to establish their own event within our programme. Therefore the Steel Frame class will be re – named PRE- INJECTION and S/F 600. all machines will run together.

Trophies will be awarded depending on the number of entries in each class as detailed above, for both categories of machines i.e. Pre injection R6 and S/F 600s .The situation will be monitored at each event throughout 2009.
