North East Motorcycle Racing Club

 Bo’ness Hill Climb Revival

We are actively trying to promote our hill climb on 11 and 12 September 2010 and I’m hoping you can pass the word around your active historic motorcycle racing members in a bid to boost entries. It will be the first time bikes have competed at Bo’ness since 1959. We are currently the only ACU licensed hill climb track in Scotland.

Championship Positions:

I must apologise for the delay in posting the championship positions, the web site has been down for over a week.

I had a request at the club last week to put the championship positions on the web site in full rather than a download document, I have done this and you can find the positions on the 2010 championship page on three pages.

BOOK YOUR PLACE EARLY.

Can riders who are planning to enter our meeting at East Fortune in October get their entries in as soon as possible please?

Donna is unavailable due to work commitments for two weeks early in September, she would appreciate it if you could get your entries in early which would allow her to process the paperwork and sort out any queries before her enforced lay off.

Thank you

Ernie Crust has asked if we can help with a few volunteers at Saltburn on September 19th for their
historic bike car demonstartions  on the  Saltburn Hill climb course for vintage cars and bikes .
There is no competitive element but spectators are given access to the paddock . it is a family fun day out and any volunteers are welcome .

Mick  can you put the advert on the web site . The main attraction is a 1909 25litre yes 25 litre car that broke the land speed record at Saltburn in 1909  and  it is road legal .

2010 Membership

If you want to become a member of the NEMCRC you must send your membership application along with a cheque to cover the cost to the membership secretary Michelle Anderson at the address on the application form, failure to do so could mean that your membership will not be registered and you will not appear in the results next season.

This applies to all members.

Do not put your membership in with your regs for the first meeting of the season.

The 2010 membership form will be sent to all members with the next club magazine as well as being available to download from this web site.

The club has a new dedicated email address you can contact any time about any problem you may be having racing related, any member of the committee can access it at any time so if you want a quick answer you should get a reply within 24 hours.
